Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Greely couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Yarmouth Clippers by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, Greely couldn't push the score so high this time.

Greely's loss ended a five-match streak of away wins and brought them to 14-3. As for Yarmouth, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 15-0-1.

Greely does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Yarmouth, they will square off against Oceanside at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Yarmouth will need to watch out since Oceanside have now posted at least four goals in their last three contests.
