Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 68-41 victory over the Heritage Panthers. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won six in a row.

Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Gianna Conklin-Jones, who went 6-for-12 to rack up 19 points in addition to seven assists and seven steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Leila Bryant, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and ten boards.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Heritage only posted five.

Heritage lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Oda Tveiten, who posted 14 points. Another player making a difference was Gabriela Buigues, who earned 11 points.

Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 47-45 loss against New Smyrna Beach on the 19th. As for Heritage, they will host Cocoa Beach at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
