Basketball Recap: Dreher's Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Dreher entered their tilt with Richland Northeast on Wednesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They took down the Richland Northeast Cavaliers 54-38. This was payback for the Blue Devils, who suffered a 35-34 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Dreher got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jamere Singleton out in front who posted 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Glasscho, who had 13 points.

Several Cavaliers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Emmanuel Ard, who earned 12 points. Another player making a difference was Christopher Asuzu, who put up ten points in addition to six boards and three steals.

Dreher's record is now 8-5. As for Richland Northeast, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.

Dreher will take on A.C. Flora at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Dreher is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.1 points per game this season. As for Richland Northeast, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 44-42 victory against Camden on the 13th.
