Katy Taylor has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 64-53 to Seven Lakes on Friday.

Katy's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-12. As for Katy Taylor, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 21-7.

Katy didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Katy Taylor in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 66-61 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Katy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
