Walnut posted their closest win since September 13th on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Lincoln Hornets 2-1. Winning may never get old, but the Mustangs sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Walnut's win bumped their record up to 14-16. As for Lincoln, they moved to 14-11 with that loss, which also ended their four-match winning streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Walnut will take on Diamond Bar at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lincoln, they will head out to face off against La Jolla at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
