Volleyball Recap: Green Canyon Comes Up Short

Green Canyon was the 3-1 winner over Orem when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wolves took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers on Thursday. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their offense was headlined by Avery Birch and Keira Birch, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Eliza Force and her 20 assists. Keira was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Green Canyon now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Orem, the victory (which was their 21st in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 2-0.

Coming up, Green Canyon will head out to take on Weber at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Orem, they will be playing at home against Skyridge at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
