Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Steven Moore stepped things up a notch to give La Sierra the 'W'. Rubidoux had no answer to Moore as he threw for 302 yards and three touchdowns on only 17 passes, and also rushed for 40 yards. Moore's passing game has become a key predictor of La Sierra's success: the team is 2-1 when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 0-3 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Moore and La Sierra will be playing in front of their home fans against Ramona at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will pit Moore up against the Rams' star QB Jesus Gonzalez.
