Basketball Recap: Dunbar Triumphs

Dunbar lost to Zion-Benton back in December of 2019, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Mightymen secured a 56-52 W over the Zee-Bees. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mightymen.

Dunbar now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Zion-Benton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dunbar will take on Julian at 5:30 p.m. on January 6, 2026. As for Zion-Benton, they will square off against Lake Zurich at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026. The Zee-Bees will be up against the Bears' rather soft defense (which has allowed 50.83 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
