Softball Recap: Lauralton Hall Crusaders vs. Wilbur Cross Governors
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lauralton Hall). They put the hurt on the Wilbur Cross Governors with a sharp 20-7 victory on Monday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Crusaders considering their two-run performance the game before.
Alexa Blitzer was a standout: she went 1-for-4 with three runs and three RBI. That hit was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Erynn Willey, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with three runs and one RBI.
