Volleyball Recap: Southern Raiders vs. Falls City Tigers
Southern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Falls City Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Raiders of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August.
The final score came out to 25-15, 25-21.
Southern's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Falls City, the victory snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 6-10 record.
Southern will take on Bruning-Davenport/Shickley on Tuesday. Bruning-Davenport/Shickley will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Southern surely won't give up without a fight. As for Falls City, they will welcome Lincoln Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
