Volleyball Recap: Dow Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Dow suffered their biggest loss since November 5, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against the Mt. Pleasant Oilers, falling 3-0. The Chargers haven't had much luck with the Oilers recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-9, 25-21.

Mt. Pleasant can attribute much of their success to Kharman Loya, who had 15 digs and three assists.

Dow's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7-3. As for Mt. Pleasant, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Dow will challenge rival Bay City Western at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Mt. Pleasant is set to square off against their familiar foe Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
