Basketball Recap: Great Hearts Northern Oaks Skates Past Karnes City with Ease

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Great Hearts Northern Oaks on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the Karnes City Badgers out of the water with a 78-27 final score. With the Griffins ahead 38-17 at the half, the game was all but over already.

It was another big night for Caden Collins, who went 6 of 8 from beyond the arc en route to 28 points along with six steals and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Lawrence Fields, who posted ten points.

Collins wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Great Hearts Northern Oaks was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive matchups.
