Volleyball Recap: Joppatowne Comes Up Short

Joppatowne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Patterson Mill Huskies, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-11, 25-18.

Joppatowne's loss dropped their record down to 1-10-1. As for Patterson Mill, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Joppatowne will take on Aberdeen at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Patterson Mill, they will venture away from home to face off against Rising Sun at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
