Softball Game Preview: Nemaha Central Thunder vs. Perry-Lecompton Kaws

The Nemaha Central Thunder will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Perry-Lecompton Kaws at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Perry-Lecompton took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Nemaha Central, who comes in off a win.

Nemaha Central barely beat Sabetha the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Thunder blew past the Bluejays 14-2 on Monday.

Meanwhile, Perry-Lecompton unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of Holton by a score of 10-9.

Devin Aldrich was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Autumn Flory, who scored two runs while going 1-for-4.

Nemaha Central's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Perry-Lecompton, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.
