After losing to Mesa Verde the last time they met, Golden Sierra decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Grizzlies claimed a resounding 45-14 victory over the Mavericks. With the Grizzlies ahead 27-7 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Golden Sierra got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Andrew Gerondakis out in front who threw for 315 yards and five TDs while completing 81% of his passes, and also punched in one score on the ground. 127 of Gerondakis' passing yards were hauled in by Noah Prine, who also brought in two receiving touchdowns.

Golden Sierra was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 214 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 189 rushing yards in three consecutive games.

The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 42.8 points over those games. As for Mesa Verde, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.
