Community Christian had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on the North Florida Christian Eagles with a sharp 3-0 victory on Friday. The win was nothing new for the Chargers as they're now sitting on six straight.

Avea Casperson paced Community Christian's offense, picking up 11 kills. Casperson got some help from Sarah Bradley and her 39 assists. Bradley was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Despite the defeat, North Florida Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Reese Sparkman had five digs and four aces.

Community Christian's victory bumped their record up to 23-4. As for North Florida Christian, they moved to 7-21 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Coming up, Community Christian will host Seven Rivers Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Florida Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
