Softball Recap: Thornridge Falcons vs. Crete-Monee Warriors
Thornridge extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 35 on Monday, dropping their season record down to 0-16 in the process. They lost 23-6 to the Crete-Monee Warriors. That's two games in a row now that the Falcons have lost by exactly 17 runs.
As for Crete-Monee, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-14 record this season. The result was nothing new for Crete-Monee, who have now won nine matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.
