Soccer Recap: Harvest Community Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Harvest Community). Their defense stepped up to hand the Hilliard Red Flashes an 8-0 shutout on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Harvest Community's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-5. As for Hilliard, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harvest Community will be home for the holidays to greet Fernandina Beach at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hilliard, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Christ's Church Academy at 7:20 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
