Basketball Game Preview: King Brahmas vs. Sinton Pirates

King is 1-7 against Sinton since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. Both will compete for holiday cheer at 6:15 p.m.

King is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Thursday. They took a hard 43-26 fall against George West.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sinton). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Premont 71-24. The win was nothing new for the Pirates as they're now sitting on five straight.

Sinton's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-6. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.7 points per game. As for King, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

King took a serious blow against Sinton when the teams last played back in January of 2020, falling 57-13. Can King avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
