Football Game Preview: St. Anne-Pacelli Vikings vs. Calvary Christian Knights

The St. Anne-Pacelli Vikings will face off against the Calvary Christian Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. St. Anne-Pacelli has given up an average of 34.3 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

St. Anne-Pacelli is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Strong Rock Christian on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Vikings lost 42-21 to the Patriots. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match pitted two dominant backs against one another in Donovan 'DJ' Colvin and Jake Johnson. Johnson had a great game and rushed for 140 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Meanwhile, Colvin did his best for the losing side, rushing for 122 yards and one TD.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 70 points the game before, Calvary Christian was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They fell 25-12 to Brookstone. The contest marked the Knights' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Although Calvary Christian took the loss, they still got scores from Jamar Williams and Nate Stokes.

Having lost for the first time this season, Calvary Christian fell to 5-1. As for St. Anne-Pacelli, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
