Brandywine lost to Mount Pleasant back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by an 11-2 margin over the Green Knights. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won six matches by nine runs or more so far this season.

Brandywine now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Mount Pleasant, they dropped their record down to 7-8 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Brandywine beat the Green Knights by a score of 11-2 later that day.
