            Baseball Recap: Seaford Bluejays vs. Woodbridge Raiders        
        
		
        
        
            Seaford had lost six straight on the road, but  on Thursday they dropped their record down to 2-10 to make it seven. They came up short against  the Woodbridge Raiders, falling  11-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bluejays of the  6-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in May of 2024.
  Vince Evans III made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  got on base  in all three of his plate appearances with one  stolen base, one  double,  and one  RBI.
As for Woodbridge, the  victory was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-6. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
On Woodbridge's side,  Daulton McCabe made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  pitched six innings while giving up just one earned run off   one  hit. McCabe has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than one  hit in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances with two  stolen bases and three  runs. Those  three  runs gave  him a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  Ryan Scott was  incredible,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with two  stolen bases, two  RBI,  and one  run. That's the most  stolen bases  he has posted since back in April of 2024.  Cameron Anthony was another key player,  going 1-for-3 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  stolen base.
 Coming up, Seaford will host ASPIRA Charter  at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Bluejays are facing the Wolves at the right time seeing as the Wolves are stuck on  a  12-game losing streak. As for Woodbridge, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Tower Hill  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
