Softball Recap: Port Chester Wins Going Away Against East Ramapo [Ramapo/Spring Valley]

Port Chester's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the East Ramapo [Ramapo/Spring Valley] Titans as they made off with a 17-4 win. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Karah Provenzano was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Heidi Gonzalez, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.

Port Chester was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .636. They are 3-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Port Chester's win bumped their record up to 3-5.

Looking ahead, Port Chester will be playing at home against Poughkeepsie at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. East Ramapo [Ramapo/Spring Valley] does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
