Volleyball Recap: Nashwauk-Keewatin Takes a Loss

Nashwauk-Keewatin was the 3-0 winner over Deer River when they last played one another on September 4th, but their luck changed this time around. The Spartans fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. Spartans fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Warriors since Saturday.

Nashwauk-Keewatin now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Deer River, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-8.

Nashwauk-Keewatin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Bigfork on the 20th. As for Deer River, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Northeast Range on the 20th.
