Basketball Recap: Richmond Comes Up Short

Richmond was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 63-41 to American International Academy.

Richmond's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for American International Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6.

Coming up, Richmond will host Anchor Bay at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Blue Devils will be up against the Tars' rather soft defense (which has allowed 60.5 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for American International Academy, they will challenge The Noble Academy at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. American International Academy's defense better be ready for this one: the Griffins have averaged an impressive 52.8 points per game this season.
