Volleyball Recap: Legacy Has No Trouble Against Denver East

The Legacy Lightning got the win against the Denver East Angels on Monday by a conclusive 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Legacy took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-13, 25-12.

Rafael Urbina paced Legacy's offense, picking up 12 kills. Urbina really made an impact as he also led the team in assists with 21. He also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Zach Lopes, racking up three apiece.

Legacy's victory bumped their record up to 18-3. As for Denver East, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-10.
