Soccer Game Preview: Camden Military vs. Lewisville

The Camden Military Spartans will venture away from home to challenge the Lewisville Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Camden Military came up short against Wilson Hall on Thursday, falling 4-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Spartans were already down 3-0.

Their goal came courtesy of William Wenger, which was the first he's scored this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lewisville). Everything went their way against Chester on Friday as Lewisville made off with a 6-1 win. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Cyclones recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

This is the second loss in a row for Camden Military and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Lewisville, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Camden Military beat Lewisville 3-1 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Camden Military since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
