Soccer Recap: Jeff Davis Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Jeff Davis was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Toombs County Bulldogs who were credited with the victory. Jeff Davis were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Toombs County earlier this season, when they won 5-1.

Jeff Davis' defeat dropped their record down to 12-3. As for Toombs County, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-8.

Jeff Davis wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Irwin County on the 18th. Toombs County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
