Powdersville had already won 12 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.1 points) and they went ahead and made it 13 on Friday. They breezed by the St. Joseph's Catholic Knights to the tune of 67-38. 67 seems to be a good number for the Patriots as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Powdersville's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Raegan Bryant, who went 8 for 20 en route to 21 points and eight rebounds. Bryant is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 15 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Makayla Assemian, who went 9 of 20 to rack up 20 points in addition to eight boards and five assists.

St. Joseph's Catholic's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Lola Kelly, who went 6 for 8 on her way to 12 points, and Stella Nash, who posted seven points and five rebounds. What's more, Kelly also posted a 75% shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's posted since back in December of 2023.

Powdersville pushed their record up to 16-7 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32.8 points. As for St. Joseph's Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Powdersville will challenge Southside Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Joseph's Catholic, they will face off against Christ Church Episcopal at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
