Catholic Central is 9-1 against Madison Plains since January of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Catholic Central Irish will face off against the Madison Plains Golden Eagles at 7:30 p.m.

Catholic Central fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Emmanuel Christian Academy on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Lions by a score of 73-71. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (70), the Irish still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Madison Plains earned a 43-32 win over Mechanicsburg on Tuesday.

With the defeat, Catholic Central broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-4. As for Madison Plains, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-12.

Catholic Central strolled past Madison Plains in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a score of 61-47. The rematch might be a little tougher for Catholic Central since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
