West Side and Nampa Christian squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but West Side had to settle for second. They fell 20-8 to the Trojans. The game marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Nampa Christian can attribute much of their success to Pete Dice, who threw for 227 yards and three touchdowns while completing 76.5% of his passes. Dice's passing game has become a key predictor of the Trojans' success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise. 120 of Dice's passing yards were hauled in by Ben Knudson.
