 The Boulder Panthers will head out on the road to  square off against  the Broomfield Eagles at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Given that  the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this  match.
 Boulder lost  9-1 to Monarch on Thursday. Boulder has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Boulder saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Beck Chesterton, who  went 3-for-4 with a  double.
 Even though they lost, Boulder  didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and  finished the game with nine  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Monarch only tossed four.
 Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought  contest, but Broomfield had to settle for  a  7-5 loss against Prairie View on Friday.
  Ethan Zufall was a  force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he  struck out seven batters over  six innings while giving up  three earned runs off   six  hits.
 At the plate,  Tripp Bemis made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  went 1-for-3 with a  home run and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Caden Williamson, who  went 1-for-3 with two  RBI.
 Boulder's record now sits at 6-13. As for Broomfield, their record now sits at 10-7.
 Boulder might still be hurting after the  15-4 defeat they got from Broomfield  in their previous matchup  back in May of 2023. Can Boulder avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
