Basketball Recap: Joshua Weems and Kensington Candler Secure Win for Little Elm

Little Elm won against Greenhill on Friday with 79 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. The Lobos came out on top against the St. Michael's Warriors by a score of 79-69. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lobos.

Leading Little Elm to victory were Kensington Candler and Joshua Weems. Candler almost dropped a double-double with 20 points and nine boards, while Weems went 9-for-15 to rack up 22 points and five rebounds. Those 22 points gave Weems a new career-high. Joseph Brickley was another key player, putting up eight points.

Little Elm's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for St. Michael's, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Little Elm will face off against DeSoto at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Michael's, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Brentwood Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
