Basketball Recap: Hammondsport Comes Up Short

If Hammondsport was feeling good fresh off their 73-28 takedown of Marion last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hammondsport Lakers had to suffer through a 68-32 loss at the hands of the Jasper-Troupsburg Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 83-28 back in January.

Hammondsport's defeat was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Jasper-Troupsburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Hammondsport nor Jasper-Troupsburg have any future games scheduled.
