Volleyball Recap: Talkington School for Young Women Leaders Comes Up Short

Talkington School for Young Women Leaders was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Plains Cowboys. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cowboys this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 last Saturday.

Talkington School for Young Women Leaders' defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Plains, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-3.

Looking ahead, Talkington School for Young Women Leaders is taking a road trip to square off against Frenship Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Plains, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Klondike on the 23rd.
