Basketball Recap: Monroe Campus Comes Up Short

If Monroe Campus was riding high fresh off their 87-57 takedown of Kennedy last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Monroe Campus fell 87-75 to the Jefferson Orange Wave on Friday.

Monroe Campus' defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Jefferson, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

Monroe Campus didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 53-52 loss against Marshall Academy on the 9th. As for Jefferson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 76-62 victory against Brooklyn Collegiate on the 8th.
