Soccer Recap: Gill St. Bernard's Comes Up Short

Gill St. Bernard was the 2-1 winner over Ridge when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights fell just short of the Red Devil by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Gill St. Bernard's came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey soccer rankings (they are ranked 29th, while Ridge are ranked 85th).

Gill St. Bernard's now has a losing record of 6-7-1. As for Ridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Gill St. Bernard's is taking a road trip to challenge West Morris Central at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ridge, they will be playing in front of their home fans against West Morris Mendham at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
