Baseball Recap: Depew Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Depew was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Weleetka Outlaws. The Hornets haven't had much luck with the Outlaws recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Depew's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Weleetka, they pushed their record up to 8-8 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, Depew will challenge Strother at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Hornets will need to watch out since the Yellowjackets have now posted at least ten runs in their last four contests. As for Weleetka, they will take on Frontier at 6:30 p.m. on the 16th.
