Soccer Recap: Leslie Comes Up Short

Leslie was the 1-0 winner over Manchester when they last played one another on April 9th, but their luck changed this time around. The Blackhawks fell just short of the Flying Dutchmen by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday.

Leslie's defeat dropped their record down to 8-2-2. As for Manchester, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.

Leslie and Manchester should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. The Blackhawks will take on Jonesville at 5:30 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (69 vs. 314). Meanwhile, Manchester (ranked 78th) will meet Grass Lake (ranked 279th) at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
