Football Recap: Rhea County Comes Up Short

Rhea County fell victim to Warren County and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against the Pioneers & Lady Pioneers, falling 25-0. The defeat leaves the Golden Eagles still looking for their first win of the season.

Rhea County's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Warren County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Warren County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 21-12 win against Bledsoe County on the 1st. Hopefully Rhea County payed attention to the Pioneers & Lady Pioneers' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Pioneers & Lady Pioneers at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
