Western Alamance came out on top against Eastern Alamance on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run fifth inning. The Warriors put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 7-1 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Western Alamance's win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Southern Alamance, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-5.

Everything went Southern Alamance's way against Western Alamance in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Southern Alamance made off with a 7-1 victory. Will the Patriots repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
