Football Recap: George Washington Prep Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for George Washington Prep's offense. They took a blow against the Crenshaw Cougars on Friday, falling 32-0. Having soared to a lofty 38 points in the game before, the Generals' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Having lost for the first time this season, George Washington Prep fell to 5-1. As for Crenshaw, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Coming up, George Washington Prep will face off against Maywood CES at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Generals 13, the Wolfpack 10.4) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Crenshaw, they will square off against Fremont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
