Volleyball Recap: Monroe Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Monroe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 24th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Piedmont Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Jordan Sikorski paced Monroe's offense, picking up two kills. Sikorski got some help from Lexi Walton and her five assists.

Monroe's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Piedmont, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Monroe has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Forest Hills on the 9th. As for Piedmont, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Sun Valley on the 9th.
