Basketball Recap: Riviera Beach Preparatory and Achievement Academy Triumphs

Dreyfoos School of the Arts came into Tuesday's contest looking for another win against Riviera Beach Preparatory and Achievement Academy, but Hershell Reynolds wouldn't allow it. The Riviera Beach Preparatory and Achievement Academy Gladiators snuck past the Dreyfoos School of the Arts Jaguars with a 61-55 victory on Tuesday thanks in part to Reynolds, who shot 6-for-10 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 33 points and 11 boards. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 12 games he's played dating back to last season.

Several Jaguars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tyson Jimerson, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 15 rebounds. James Griffin was another key player, going 7 for 10 on his way to 18 points.

Riviera Beach Preparatory and Achievement Academy's record now sits at 4-8. As for Dreyfoos School of the Arts, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-13.
