Soccer Recap: Davenport Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Davenport can now relate to. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the George Jenkins Eagles on Friday. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, the Broncos couldn't push the score so high this time.

Davenport has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10-1 record this season. As for George Jenkins, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-4.

Davenport does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for George Jenkins, they will square off against Winter Haven at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
