Softball Recap: Eagle Point Finds Home Field Redemption Against North Bend

There's no place like home for Eagle Point, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They came out on top against the North Bend Bulldogs by a score of 13-9 on Tuesday. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Sarah Estes, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. That stolen base was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kady Ledbetter, who scored three runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Estes wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Eagle Point kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits every time they've taken the field this season.

Eagle Point's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for North Bend, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coincidentally, Eagle Point and North Bend will both be playing Henley the next time they take the field. North Bend will host Henley at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, while Eagle Point will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
