Soccer Game Preview: Grant vs. Union

The Grant Generals will venture away from home to square off against the Union Redhawks at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Grant's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for seven straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Grant fell victim to Ponca City and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 6-0 to the Wildcats.

Meanwhile, Union kept a clean sheet against Enid on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Plainsmen with a sharp 5-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Union, who have now won three games by four goals or more so far this season.

Grant's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Union, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.
