Basketball Recap: Apponequet Regional Comes Up Short

Apponequet Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 63-40 to the Middleborough Sachems. The Lakers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Sachems earlier this season, when they won 60-50.

Apponequet Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Middleborough, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Coming up, Apponequet Regional won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Dighton-Rehoboth Regional at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lakers will need to watch out since the Falcons have now posted at least 55 points in their last three contests. As for Middleborough, they will square off against Randolph at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
