Basketball Recap: Christel House's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Christel House waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They snuck past Indianapolis HomeSchool Wildcats with a 64-58 win.

Christel House's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Terrance Meredith led the charge by going 5 of 9 en route to 18 points. That's the most points Meredith has posted since back in January. The team also got some help courtesy of Josiah Jackson, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds.

Christel House smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in five consecutive games.

Christel House is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points per game. As for Indianapolis HomeSchool Wildcats, they moved to 9-4 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Christel House will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Tindley at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Christel House is facing Tindley at the right time seeing as Tindley is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Indianapolis HomeSchool Wildcats, they will face off against Richmond on Thursday.
