West Scranton has gone 9-1 against Scranton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Invaders are taking a road trip to challenge the Knights at 4:30 p.m. West Scranton will be strutting in after a win while Scranton will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with seven defeats in a row, West Scranton turned things around against Scranton Prep on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Cavaliers with a sharp 18-3 victory. The game marked the Invaders' most dominant win of the season.

Mia Keenan and Brianna Connor did most of the damage at the plate: Keenan went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI, while Connor went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most runs Keenan has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Julia Farkaly, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.

West Scranton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .613. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, Scranton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They came up short against North Pocono, falling 16-4.

Scranton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for West Scranton, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-8.

Everything went West Scranton's way against Scranton when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as West Scranton made off with an 11-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Invaders since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
